The Office of Curriculum and Professional Development is responsible for planned, on-going and systematic curriculum development and revision in keeping with Meriden's five year time table for curriculum revision. Curriculum committees are established for all PreK-12 instructional program areas and play a key role in curriculum review and evaluation. The office also designs an on-going program of professional development to support the instructional program and coordinates system and building based professional development activities in compliance with state-mandated guidelines and CEU program.
